Our History
In the early 1970’s, Paul Pukas and his family saw the potential for a reliable and high-quality aggregate and ready mix concrete supplier to become established in the Shuswap area. Continuing on with the very same ambition, brothers Neal, Read, and Murray LaTosky bought Salmon Arm Ready Mix Ltd. in 2002. The LaTosky’s have a long history in aggregate and ready mix concrete production, and all 3 were involved when their father, Michael, operated similar operations in Alberta from 1959 to 1989.

Salmon Arm Ready Mix Ltd. strives to always offer higher-quality products than its competitors, in tandem with reliable modern equipment and professional operators. Operating year round from its main location in Salmon Arm, no job is too large or small for our company. For more than 40 years, we have continued to service commercial, residential, and agricultural clients, as well as do-it-yourselfers in the Shuswap area. Salmon Arm Ready Mix Ltd.’s aggregate operations take place from our 2 local quarries, both within the city limits of Salmon Arm. The Glen Eden Quarry produces all ready mix aggregates, as well as a full line of washed rock, fine sand, and golf course sands. The Bettles Quarry handles all road base materials, from non-spec to comprehensive MOT specifications.
